Born from Senior Living Care Leaders

Forwarding-thinking care and operations leaders in a community began dreaming about ways to revolutionize senior care by reducing staff paperwork, improve workflow and give managers better tools to shape staffing decisions.

The ideas from an Executive Director, Health Center Administrator and Director of Nursing centered on ways to better understand the movements of their care staff and to put the tools in their hands that help them more quickly and efficiently deliver care.

Developed by Senior Living Technology Leaders

InMotion Care was formed to bring these ideas to life. Technology, IT and business leaders worked closely with the community staff. From this partnership, our solution for time-stamped and location-stamped motion collection and reporting began to take shape.

A full-size community mockup was constructed to provide a testing ground for the motion recording, application delivery and networking needs. Our goal was to precisely measure movement to accurately show where caregivers were in a resident’s room. Not just that they were in the room. But where in the room. Our software platform was engineered to collect motion data and deliver it to our mobile app. The app was designed to put the power of care tools in the caregivers’ hands.

Mark Heston

President and CEO

Mark Heston is the President & CEO at In Motion Care. He brings over 20 years of experience in leadership positions in the senior living industry. Prior to helping found InMotion Care, Mark was the Chief Human Resources Officer for LCS and led a successful consulting firm specializing in human resource management. He also serves on the Board of Directors of multiple Not-For-Profit organizations.

Mark holds a Bachelors in Finance from Iowa State University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Iowa. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling and spending time with his wife, five children and granddaughter.

Rick Sanger

Chief Technology Officer

Rick Sanger is the Chief Technology Officer at InMotion Care, the only real-time precision care software for senior living. Rick brings over 25 years of experience providing technology solutions and services in industries such as senior living, telco, financial services, and manufacturing. He most recently lead the technology team at FullCount, a leading point of sale (POS) vendor in senior living.

Rick holds a Bachelors in Management Information Systems from Central College and a Masters in Business Administration from Iowa State University. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors and attending sporting events with his wife and two daughters.

Lindsa Snyder

Director of Client Development

Lindsa Snyder is an accomplished professional with over 18 years of experience in the senior living industry. She currently serves as the Director of Client Development at In Motion Care. Previously, Lindsa led the Sales team at FullCount POS, a prominent senior living company, where she honed her expertise in client relationship management.

Lindsa graduated from Central College, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, with a minor in Computer Science. Her educational background equipped her with a strong foundation in both business strategy and technological innovation.

Outside of work, Lindsa finds joy in spending quality time with her husband and three wonderful children, watching their kids games, and following Iowa State and Iowa Basketball and football.
